Clint Bowyer threatened to finish in the top 10 in his first two attempts with Stewart-Haas Racing. At Las Vegas Motor Speedway, he finally carried through and finished 10th in the Kobalt 400.
As accomplishments go, this might not seem like a lot, but this was the first time in his last 30 attempts on similarly-configured, 1.5-mile tracks that he finished in the top 10. He came close at Atlanta Motor Speedway last week with an 11th, and fantasy players will want to pay close attention to him. Bowyer was the highest-finishing SHR driver at Vegas after all three of his teammates experienced trouble.
