Kevin Harvick cuts tire, rebounds to 13th

Kevin Harvick experienced a cut tire on lap 26 of the Auto Club 400, lost a lap getting it changed, and spent most of the afternoon a lap down to the leaders. He regained his lap with 10 circuits remaining and finished 13th.

Harvick's Fantasy Power Rankings number will take a hit this week, but he showed a lot of poise and strength at the end of the race to secure that top-15, advancing from 22nd. He should be watched closely in the coming weeks.
